No Time to Waste: Climate Action Meets Energy Security

Europe – and Germany in particular – is facing a historic challenge: how to decarbonize at speed without compromising energy security. The Russian war in Ukraine, global supply chain disruptions, and rising energy demands have exposed critical vulnerabilities. At the same time, the climate crisis leaves no room for delay. This session brings together four action-oriented perspectives – each delivering a 5-minute impulse. Kicked off by a curated introduction and followed by an open discussion, we will examine the current state of play and chart realistic, scalable pathways to rapidly accelerate the energy transition while ensuring resilience and sovereignty.
