Beyond the Human: Co-Creating Art with Other Intelligences

What happens when artistic creation becomes a shared process – not just between humans, but with artificial systems, collective intelligences, and even other species? In this panel, artist Will Freudenheim (SCHEMA, Biotopy ), philosopher, AI researcher and artist Max Haarich (Lexi.exe), multidisciplinary art collective Swan Collective (Felix Kraus), and Alena Mayer (co-founder and CEO of Caldo Worldwide) join Christina Mayer (co-founder and creative director, Caldo Worldwide) to explore how expanded notions of intelligence are reshaping art. Together, they investigate what it means to think, perceive, and create with nonhuman actors – be they neural networks, simulated agents, or speculative organisms. How might these hybrid collaborations unsettle authorship, aesthetics, and intention? And what can they teach us about new forms of coexistence in a world where intelligence is increasingly plural, porous, and planetary?
