Alena Mayer

Alena Valerie Rosa Mayer is a Munich-based entrepreneur and co-founder of Caldo Worldwide, a curated online gallery and publishing house at the intersection of art, technology, and society. Caldo exhibits and sells artworks online that are developed by artists, technologists, and scientists who use emerging technologies not just as tools, but as materials for cultural imagination, speculative futures, and societal impact—empowering an avant-garde that views technology not merely as optimization, but as a space for invention, aesthetics, and visualisation.

With a background in corporate management and finance, Alena brings an interdisciplinary perspective to innovation, combining business acumen with creative strategy to build infrastructure for new forms of cultural and innovative technological expression.

She studied Business Administration in Vienna and is completing her MA in Entrepreneurship & Digital Business at THI. Alena also gained teaching experience at the University of Vienna and was part of the Munich delegation to SXSW 2025 in Austin.
