Gonzalo Pérez is currently investing in startups worldwide that target Germany as their primary market. In his recent career at Wayra, the Corporate Venture Capital arm of the Telefónica Group, he served as Head of Business Development in Spain, where they achieved over €150 million in revenue for portfolio startups. In July 2023, he got promoted to Munich to focus exclusively on investing in startups.
Gonzalo has also led several private initiatives related to investment, music, theatre, and SMEs. Prior to his role at Telefónica and as a freelancer, he and his team raised over €150 million in public and private funding for research and innovation at Atos, a French listed IT company.
