Free UR Head

Free UR Head is a groundbreaking participatory choreography project that uses custom-developed real-time XR technology to turn audiences into performers. Originally born from a desire to make VR more playful, social, and accessible, the project invites participants to take part in a large-scale, collective, and fully immersive performance.

Equipped with VR headsets and seated together in a shared space, participants will become part of a spontaneous, unrehearsed choreography – directed not by a traditional choreographer, but through the subtle orchestration of movement via virtual cues. Meanwhile, spectators – whether intentionally present or simply passing by – will witness the live formation of this evolving performance.

This session explores how virtual reality can be used to guide, influence, and play with human behavior at scale, challenging our understanding of collective movement and digital agency. Join us to experience and discuss the intersection of art, technology, and embodied interaction.
