Soundwaves of Tomorrow: Music in the Age of AI

What will music sound like in five years? Discover the future of music at "Soundwaves of Tomorrow" – an inspiring session where leading voices from composition, music production, copyright law, artistry, and music psychology come together to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping the musical landscape.
How is AI influencing the creative process in music? Can machines collaborate artistically with humans – and if so, how? What psychological effects might AI-generated music have on listeners? And who holds the rights to music created with the help of algorithms?

After an introduction to the technological developments that have influenced the music industry over the past decades, and a keynote by Ali Nikrang, Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Musical Creation at the University of Music and Theatre Munich, a panel discussion addresses these and other pressing questions, offering interdisciplinary insights into the opportunities and challenges that AI brings to musical creation, perception, and ownership.

Further panelists follow soon.
