Yannick Hofmann

Yannick Hofmann (1988, Offenbach am Main, Germany) is an artist and researcher based in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. His work critically explores disruptive trends at the intersection of technology and society. Since 2023, he has been a researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering, focusing on human-machine collaboration in urban systems engineering. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Director of Artistic Research and Production at the ZKM | Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe. From 2020 to 2023, Hofmann led the project intelligent.museum, which he initiated. In this interdisciplinary endeavor, he collaborated with software developers and experts in museum visitor research to design forward-thinking formats for the museums of the future.
