Dr. Thorsten Lambertus is Managing Director of DEEP, the Institute for Deep Tech Innovation at ESMT Berlin, where he supports international ecosystems in turning science-based innovation into global companies. He is also Site Lead of the Creative Destruction Lab in Berlin and Doha, one of the world’s leading startup accelerators. Before joining ESMT, he built corporate venturing at Biogen in Germany, led Fraunhofer’s central tech transfer and startup incubation programs, and co-founded two startups. He has also spent more than 15 years mentoring startups and teaching entrepreneurship at leading accelerators, universities, and research organizations.
