Michael Schmidt

Michael is a geoecologist and holds a PhD from the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), where he used SAR data to map biomass in the Amazon region. For more than 10 years he worked in Mexico to establish the national system for monitoring land use change and biodiversity using satellite data and large-scale in-situ sensors. As CEO and head of our research department, he is driving the development of the company.
