Johannes Kern

Johannes Kern is Managing Director of the Frankencoin Association, the non-profit steward of ZCHF — a decentralised, overcollateralised Swiss franc stablecoin on Ethereum and six other chains. With ~$65M TVL, Frankencoin is one of the largest non-USD stablecoins in DeFi. Johannes has over a decade of experience at the intersection of traditional finance and crypto, including advisory and board roles across DeFi protocols, Swiss fintech, and blockchain infrastructure. He is also working with a Single Family Office and Chairman of Roam Network. A regular speaker at EthCC, Stable Summit, Stablecon, ETHDenver, and Devcon, Johannes focuses on stablecoin design, de-centralised governance, and the macro case for CHF as a digital reserve asset.
