Artist Eric Joris will be presenting CREW
CREW is a pioneering art company that explores embodied Virtual and Mixed Reality through performance. Since 2003, it has developed its own technology to create experiences where the body is central, revealing how technology shifts our perception and presence.
At the Festival, CREW presents the first spark of Tremens—a playful, performer-driven experiment that moves, breathes, and unfolds in space. The full premiere follows in February 2026.
CREW works at the intersection of art and science, collaborating with partners such as the Universities of Hasselt and Antwerp, Inria, and the Fraunhofer Institute. Its work has been shown internationally at festivals and research events.
Since 2019, Eric Joris and Isjtar Vandebroeck have shaped CREW’s artistic direction.
