Dirk von Gehlen

Dirk von Gehlen is an author, journalist and public speaker. He is a graduate of the "Deutsche Journalistenschule (DJS)" and works as "Director Think Tank" at the SZ Institute (Süddeutsche Zeitung). He not only reflects on new ideas ("Anleitung zum Unkreativsein", Rheinwerk 2021), but also puts them into practice: for the Süddeutsche Zeitung, for example, he co-developed the long-form magazine "Süddeutsche Zeitung Langstrecke" and the running newsletter "Minutenmarathon", which has also been published as a book. This autumn, his book "Social Media Verbieten? Verboten" will be published, in which he develops a constructive perspective on how to engage with social media and the next generation.
