Christina has worked for GEMA since 2016, overseeing Commercial & Partnerships for the Online and Broadcast line of business. This department generates significant revenue for GEMA members by licensing various formats, including traditional TV and radio, podcasts, audiobooks on demand, and national streaming and download platforms. Additionally, her team develops corresponding business and licensing strategies, including those for GEMA´s repertoire in GenAI models.
She began her professional career in copyright and media law as an in-house lawyer at a television station followed by several years in Salzburg/Austria working for the legal department of Red Bull Media House before becoming Head of Legal for Red Bull TV.
Christina is a fully qualified German lawyer admitted to the Bar and holds an MBA in Digital Media Law and Management.
