Alina Solotarov

Alina Solotarov is a Berlin-based researcher and speaker specialising in AI ethics and Futures Studies. She holds a BA in Philosophy from Oxford University and an MA from Freie Universität Berlin, where her research focuses on the ethical ramifications of AI-generated images for visualising the future, applying Luciano Floridi’s Information Ethics framework.

At Fraunhofer Institute ISI, Alina works on the 'Beyond the Machine' project, exploring AI, creativity, and ethics. Awarded 'Best Paper' at the DGPuK conference, she is passionate about promoting responsible AI practices. She frequently speaks at international events and conferences, engaging diverse audiences and advocating for responsible AI practices that bridge academia, creativity, and ethics.
