Wavelab - University of Music and Performing Arts Munich

Wavelab ist das Innovationslabor und Gründungszentrum der Hochschule für Musik und Theater München für Experimente und Unternehmungen an der Schnittstelle von Music, Arts & Media mit neuen Technologien. Es ist ein Ort für künstlerisch Studierende, sowie Young Professionals aus der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft, die sich für Innovation, unternehmerisches Denken und Handeln und/oder den Einsatz neuer Technologien interessieren. Mit seinen Veranstaltungen will das Wavelab Neugier und Begeisterung wecken für Entrepreneurship und Innovation als auch Startups an der Schnittstelle von Kultur und neuen Technologien im Incubator bei der Umsetzung ihrer Gründungsvorhaben unterstützen. Dadurch entsteht eine interdisziplinäre Plattform aus Künstler*innen & Kreativen, Technologie-Expert*innen, Entrepreneur*innen, Investor*innen sowie Institutionen und Unternehmen rund um Music, Arts, Media & neue Technologien.

The Wavelab is the innovation lab and start-up center of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich for experiments and ventures at the interface of music, arts & media with new technologies. The Wavelab is a place for artistic, creative and cultural students, as well as young professionals from the cultural and creative industries, who are interested in innovation, entrepreneurial thinking and action and/or the use of new technologies in the arts and cultural context. With its events, Wavelab aims to arouse curiosity and enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and innovation as also supports start-ups at the interface of culture and new technologies in the Incubator in the implementation of their start-up projects. This creates a interdisciplinary platform and network.
